- Directions to Tahoe South from the Bay Area
- Amtrak/Capitol Corridor
- Amtrak has a train between the Bay Area and Sacramento. Then a bus from Sacramento to South Lake Tahoe.
- From Bay Area: leave on Wed or Thurs at approx. 8am. Arrive in South Lake Tahoe approx. Noon
- From Sacramento: Leave approx. 10am. Arrive in South Lake Tahoe approx. Noon
